What is Ground cable? It is the cable that is normally connected next to the RCA cable, turntables that do not have a Ground cable normally have a LINE-PHONE switcher built in. Turntables with no built-in preamp need ground cable. Turntables that need ground have a cable that needs to be attached to your preamp (whether it's an external preamp, mixer, amplifier).
